I had a copy of the silver award decal made and had it stuck to all the remaining books in stock with Troubador the publisher.

It’s made a huge difference to be able to demonstrate that the novel has won an award. Would-be readers certainly seem more interested in reading it now. So, thanks once again. Please keep up the good work.

Some simple but important facts: I entered these awards because they are fundamentally British and so is my book. The Wishing Shelf Award has such a trustworthy reputation and I’d have no hesitation in encouraging fellow authors to enter. Edward was always on-hand via the Facebook group to answer any queries and I think this speaks for itself. The website was handled quickly and efficiently when changes needed to be made. All in all, a wonderful, positive experience. ( I also have to mention that I’ve since signed contracts with Accent Press - and I know they were impressed that Silver Rain was listed as a finalist).’
